TheLP5990isdesignedtobestablewithspacesaving0402capacitorsassmallas1µF. 2 Operation Theinputvoltage,appliedbetweenV andGNDshouldbeatleast1.0Vabovetheoutputvoltagewitha IN maximumof5.5V.Inputconnectionsshouldbekeptreasonablyshort(<300mm)tominimizeinput inductanceandensureoptimumtransientperformance.Iflongerleadsareused,thenitmayberequired toincreasetheinputcapacitorvalueto2.2µF.
